Why Quit Tobacco?
If
you're asking this question, the chances are that you have been
thinking about quitting smoking or chewing tobacco for a while now.
Maybe you even tried it a time or two (or three or four...). So,
why are you still using tobacco?
Many people blame lack of willpower. Others deny that they want
to quit at all. We know that neither of these is the case. You know
that:
- You
want to quit;
-
You need to quit;
- and,
You can quit!
Maybe
you just need some better reasons to quit smoking or chewing. At
Tobacco-Free Ways, we have the tools and guidance to help you quit for good.

In Pima County...
For these reasons,
Tobacco-Free Ways offers school-based tobacco prevention and education
activities, focusing on youth in fourth through eighth grade in
eleven Pima County public school districts. These activities emphasize
the dangers of tobacco use and secondhand smoke, while teaching
students refusal and other important life skills. Students in the
6th through 12th grade who have completed the TFW school-based program
are encouraged to join S.W.A.T., Tobacco-Free Ways' youth coalition.

works with retailers to eliminate the ability of youth to access
tobacco products in the first place. Free merchant education
services and training are available by calling Tobacco-Free Ways
